25 Specific definitions of the item's complexity and criticality are to be defined uniquely for each end item in which COTS is to be integrated.

26 Acquisition document types to select from, and their order of preference are listed and defined in Table 5-3 (Section 5). COTS acquisition documents should be limited to those types identified as "Performance Documents"
